Gardens by the Bay

Hendrik’s first school outing for 2013 was held last 18 April 2013, at Gardens by the Bay. Daddy went with him and together they joined Hendrik's classmates, friends, and teachers as they explore the sights and sounds of Singapore’s biggest and newest park.

Gardens by the Bay covers 250 acres of reclaimed land in Central Singapore that aims to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city.

From Daddy and Hendrik’s stories when they came home from the outing, it seemed it was a tiring, but fun bonding day for father and son.

First School Field Trip

Hendrik attended his first ever school field trip on 01 March 2012 - a week shy of the end of school in Term 1. As it was his first time and because he is still a little boy, somebody in the family must accompany him. Mommy could not make it on that day, so it was Daddy who took a day off work.

The students and teachers of Bethesda Sunbeam Kindergarten, as well as parents, relatives and guardians of the students went to Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon in Sentosa Island as the school's first outing activity for 2012.

He was also seen always playing and having fun with his friend, Zoe...

The next agenda for the day after the tunnel in Underwater World is the dolphin and seals show at the Dolphin Lagoon...

Hendrik bought a Sentosa bus replica toy as a souvenir of his very first school outing...  =)

He also willingly participated in the "sing and dance" portion where the students sing a song and follow the teacher's movements... 

After about 4 hours in Sentosa, it was time to cap the day and the best way to do it was to have a group photo...

On the whole, Hendrik had a great time. I bet he is looking forward for more school outings and field trips!  =)
