Penang - Hotel Royal Penang

Hotel Royal Penang located in Georgetown is about 25-30 minutes taxi ride from Penang International Airport. I should say that we (adults) were not impressed the moment we stepped-in at the hotel. Maybe because the hotel is quite old, looks tired and needs a facelift. It could also be because the last 2 hotel stays we had was kind of distinguished like Hotel Nikko in Hong Kong and the newly built Holiday Inn Hotel in Malacca.

Nevertheless, we are still grateful for having the chance to travel to another place we have never been to and also the opportunity to stay in a decent hotel during our holiday. 

We checked-in at the hotel around 4:30pm.

Usually, it is Hendrik who's the first one to try the hotel bed.

And Daddy surely doesn't want to be left out...

For us, the best part of staying in a hotel aside from the comfy room is buffet breakfast!

Hendrik needs to be busy so that we adults can have our second and even third servings to fill in our tummies for the day's activities *_*

Even when we were still having our tours, Hendrik would always mention that he wants to go back to the hotel room, and he particularly likes the bed.

After a day and night of activities during the tours, Hendrik would be very tired and would be the first one to knock off and the last one to wake up in the morning. Such a cutie little boy...
