We celebrated Daddy’s birthday 2 Sundays ago, 15 April.
Since it was a Sunday, we attended church in the morning and then had dinner outside.
Originally, Daddy wanted to celebrate his birthday by having a staycation at MBS Hotel. Mommy was way too so slow to book for a hotel room until there was no longer room available on the particular date Daddy had chosen. Too bad… We could have experienced Singapore’s iconic and most luxurious hotel. Hendrik could have jumped and tested the bed’s sturdiness at his heart’s content. We could have savored the yummy buffet breakfast - which is by the way our favorite part in staying in a hotel. We could have relaxed and sun bathed or moon bathed in the rooftop’s infinity pool. =) And, Daddy could have been frantically spending a great deal of time breathlessly capturing the stunning views of the Singapore skyline - it sure would have been a precious experience for him. If only Mommy was just fast... Even at the last minute, Mommy and Daddy asked their friends who work at the hotel if they can squeeze us in, but unfortunately the hotel was already fully booked. How can a very expensive hotel be fully booked?!? - sigh -

Going back to reality... After church that day we invited one of Mommy’s best
friends, Tita Claire, to join us for dinner. We went to Seoul Garden and had a
buffet dinner, steamboat / shabu-shabu style. Borrowing Tita Claire’s words, “we
enjoyed a sumptuous variety of chicken, beef, seafood, and tasty fish and prawn
balls”.
